Kyle Mola was born in 1994 at 2:35pm on a cool spring day. His father, who worked at American Comedy Network at the time, wrote a parody of Lola by the Kinks to celebrate his son’s birth, and had his cousin who was in a local band record it. The refrain K-Y-L-E Mola was a common one throughout his youth, and this glimpse into the power of creative writing stuck with him forevermore (all solicitations for a listen to the Kyle Song must come with a job offer).

After graduating in Classics from the University of New Hampshire, he continued his studies in Wales at Cardiff University, obtaining an MA in Creative Writing and Teaching in 2017. While continuing his personal writing, including novels, short stories, and poetry, his pen (or keyboard) remains restless, always yearning for new challenges and opportunities to write words never before combined and reach people in new markets who’ve never read his words yet.

Kyle Mola knows how to reach the consumer because he is an avid consumer. He consumes the very kind of marketing materials he writes and he is a master at pop culture. To date (August 20th), he has consumed 236 movies and 24 novels in 2024. This is not a joke, he takes consumption very seriously and logs these consumptions on Letterboxd and StoryGraph, apps designed for avid consumers like him.
