It’s the biggest tentpole event of the year… and it’s the launch of our new disruptive campaign: Finance is not a bad word. A big part of Conn’s business is in our financial offerings, so we aimed to destigmatize the negative connotation surrounding it. Did it work? It’s unclear! Was it a lot of fun to change the word fuck to finance? Abso-financing-lutely! To match the saucier tone of our new campaign, it was my solemn duty to write rude headlines for our non-finance products as well. This is truly the stuff that copywriters dream about. Enjoy!
